Scott James
Scott is an American lawyer and a partner in Faegre & Benson LLP, specialising in advising companies on US, UK and EU product liability issues. He has been practicing in Faegre's London office for over 20 years.He helps businesses avoid contract pitfalls, take advantage of American business laws and effectively reduce US product liability exposure. Scott regularly speaks in the UK to trade associations and at government sponsored seminars on legal topics related to doing business in the US.
Paul Bakker
Paul runs Peterborough Technical Communication, a consultancy specialising in advising businesses on the creation of effective technical support documentation. He lectures at Twente and Eindhoven technical universities, advises professional bodies on how product liability law impacts on the work of communicators and trains technical communicators. Paul is the former Vice President of the UK's Institute of Scientific and Technical Communications.
