Former Cosworth CEO in running for AWM chair

Brendan Connor, the former CEO of Northampton, UK based motorsport engine manufacturer Cosworth Racing is in the running for the chairmanship of the Advantage West Midlands regional development agency.

Connor, who is on a shortlist of three potential replacements for Nick Paul, who steps down from the post in December, was CEO at Cosworth Racing from 2001-2003, is an AWM board member and is currently chairman of Cenex, the Centre of Excellence for Low Carbon and Fuel Cell Technology based at Loughborough University
